Ballasted Sleepers
Brief Description & Application:
Sleepers were made pre-stressed and according to the Australian Code of AS 1085.14. The designs and manufacturing were verified by accredited independent third parties via tests and inspections. Mastrak sleepers currently covers about a quarter of mainline railway tracks in use in Malaysia.
Advantages:
These sleepers were tested rigorously and had been supplied since 1982. The quality reflects our 4 decades of experience, and had been a reference points by the industry, authorities and academia. We used our expertise from this in advising the formation of Malaysian Rail Industry Standards (MRIS). Mastrak can make standard gauge, meter gauge, dual gauge and guardrail sleepers with various types of fastenings.
